TERMS OF SERVICE
Angelo Bugli – Private Chef & Bespoke Dining Experiences
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of the website angelobugli.com and the booking of private chef services, private dining experiences, cooking experiences, food & wine experiences, private events and other culinary services provided by Angelo Bugli (“Chef Angelo”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By submitting a request through this website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Service.
1. OUR SERVICES
Angelo Bugli provides bespoke culinary experiences in Rome, Lazio and other locations in Italy, including:
- Private Chef and private dining experiences
- Villa and private residence dining
- Cooking experiences
- Food & Wine experiences
- Private and corporate events
- Team building experiences
- Gastronomic consulting and culinary services
Each experience is individually tailored according to the Client’s requirements, location, number of guests, occasion, dietary preferences and availability.
The information presented on this website is for general information and does not constitute a binding offer to provide a service.
2. REQUESTS & BOOKINGS
Submitting a request through the website does not constitute a confirmed booking and does not require any payment.
After receiving your request, Chef Angelo will review the details and, where appropriate, contact you to discuss your requirements.
A personalised proposal will then be provided specifying the agreed services, date, location, number of guests, menu or experience, total price and applicable payment terms.
A booking becomes confirmed only after:
- the Client accepts the personalised proposal; and
- the required deposit has been received.
The personalised proposal and the booking confirmation will contain the specific terms applicable to the individual experience.
3. PAYMENT
Unless otherwise stated in the personalised proposal:
40% of the total agreed price is required as a deposit to confirm the booking.
The remaining 60% balance must be paid no later than five (5) calendar days before the scheduled date of the experience.
Additional services, guests, menu changes or other requests made after confirmation may result in additional charges.
The applicable price and payment instructions will always be confirmed in writing before the booking is finalised.
4. CANCELLATION
Because private experiences are individually planned and dates are specifically reserved for each Client, cancellation may result in costs that cannot be recovered.
Unless different terms are expressly stated in the personalised proposal:
- More than 15 days before the event: cancellation is possible, subject to the applicable refund terms and any documented non-recoverable costs already incurred for the booking.
- Between 15 and 6 days before the event: the 40% deposit is non-refundable.
- 5 days or less before the event: the full agreed price may become payable, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms of Service limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
5. MENU & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Menus are created around the Client’s preferences, the occasion, the season and the availability of suitable ingredients.
Clients must communicate any known:
- food allergies;
- intolerances;
- dietary restrictions;
- vegetarian or vegan requirements;
- other relevant dietary preferences
as early as possible and preferably when submitting the initial request.
Chef Angelo will make reasonable efforts to accommodate declared dietary requirements.
For serious or life-threatening allergies, Clients must provide clear and complete information in advance. Because food may be prepared in kitchens where multiple ingredients are present, absolute absence of cross-contact cannot always be guaranteed.
6. VENUE & ACCESS
Private dining experiences may take place at villas, private residences, luxury vacation rentals, yachts and other suitable venues.
The Client is responsible for ensuring that the agreed venue provides reasonable access and suitable working conditions for the service.
Any unusual venue restrictions, kitchen limitations or access requirements must be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
7. NUMBER OF GUESTS
The number of guests must be accurately communicated when requesting the service.
Any increase in the number of guests after confirmation must be agreed in advance and may result in an additional charge.
Chef Angelo may decline additional guests where the increase would affect food safety, kitchen capacity, service quality, venue limitations or staffing requirements.
8. SERVICE & CLEAN-UP
Unless otherwise stated in the personalised proposal, Chef Angelo personally prepares and, where applicable, serves the agreed culinary experience.
Reasonable post-service kitchen clean-up is included where applicable, and the working area will be left clean and organised.
The Client remains responsible for the general condition of the property and for any damage caused by the Client or guests.
9. CHANGES TO A BOOKING
Requests to change the:
- date;
- location;
- number of guests;
- menu;
- duration;
- type of service;
- or additional services
are subject to availability and may result in a revised quotation.
A change is effective only once it has been confirmed in writing by Angelo Bugli.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
Angelo Bugli shall not be responsible for failure or delay in providing a service where this is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, government restrictions, war, civil unrest, strikes, serious transportation disruption, public health emergencies, venue closure or other unforeseeable events.
Where reasonably possible, the parties will attempt to reschedule the experience.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY & PRIVACY
Angelo Bugli respects the privacy of Clients and their guests.
Photographs or videos identifying Clients or guests will not be used for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
Personal information submitted through this website is processed in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Angelo Bugli shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or from a service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Some experiences may involve third-party suppliers, venues, transportation providers, wineries, event professionals or other external services.
Where third-party services are included in a personalised proposal, their own terms and conditions may also apply.
Angelo Bugli is not responsible for circumstances caused exclusively by an independent third party, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
16. CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory consumer rights applicable to the Client.
Where applicable law provides mandatory protections that cannot be waived or limited by agreement, those protections remain fully applicable.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions that may apply to consumers under the laws applicable to them.
Where permitted by applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the competent courts in Italy.
18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Angelo Bugli may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The version published on this website will indicate the date of the most recent update.
The Terms applicable to a confirmed booking are those accepted by the Client at the time the booking is confirmed, unless otherwise required by law.
